Many magic card tricks depend on using a gaffed deck of playing cards. These decks are extremely useful and very convincing. However, once you have performed the trick to the spectator, they normally ask to see the cards. This can cause a problem for you the magician, unless, of course, you can convincingly switch the decks without any of the spectators spotting it.
As all magicians know, switching a deck within a performance is no easy task and is probably one of the most uncomfortable things a magician can perform. However, if the deck is switched convincingly then this adds a whole new angle to a magicians performance and can wow your audience to a new extreme.
Roberto Giobbi will show you how to perform the perfect deck switch whether you are standing, seated or if you are wearing a jacket or not. He will also explain the psychological subtleties behind the moves taught and how they make the switches more convincing.
As you learn these moves, Giobbi will also show you some seriously strong card magic.
Roberto Giobbi's techniques shown are of course tried and tested through hundreds of performances so are guaranteed to work on your spectators everytime.
This is the only book of its kind to cover the topic of switching a deck in such depth with over 30 moves and also some great card magic.
