GIMMICK DESTINY IT'S YOUR CHOICE BY AXEL HECKLAU

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a74cJgVKrR8

A destiny card is freely choosen and drawn in a piece of paper. The spectator shuffles his card into the deck by himself.
Then it follows a funny procedure of elemination. The spectator throws several times half of the cards into the air.
The raining cards are funny and create a "big picture" on stage.
At the end 2-3 cards are left from which the spectator clearly selects one card (no classic equivoque) . Now everybody expects the previous selected card (since you are a magician and you know how you can do something like this)
But life is full of surprise - it´s a totally different card. Of course - because all the spectators decisions where totally free.

But at the end everything comes the other way. Without having touched the paper now it shows the last card you hold in your hands.
- the paper stays visible the whole time - no switch
- the elemination process is extremly fair
- the raining cards are creating a beautyfull picture and fill the stage
- at the end there is a full deck of unprepared cards on the floor

- the story "destiny" gives you many possipilities for your story and is interesting to everybody.
You get an digital download that explains everything in deep detail
For the "perfect" Version you need to craft a little bit. The neccessary material for a performance in front of an audience is available at online office supply shops

GIMMICK SWITCHER BY RICHARD JAMES

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nTJLZ0ls8kU

Switcher Will Blow Their Minds!

One of the most visual and versatile utility props for the card worker ever invented, here are just two of the many effects possible with switcher.

Effect 1
A "card sandwich" with one card turned sideways, trapped between two other cards is placed on the table. A spectator then chooses a card and signs it on the face. You rip their card up into many tiny pieces and call attention to the trapped card which has been in full view the entire time. You turn the cards over and show that the card sandwiched in between is a Joker, which you pull out and wave over the pieces of their ripped-up, signed card. Watch the surprise on their faces when you turn over the Joker and it's now their signed card! Of course, the ripped up pieces on the table are from a Joker!

Effect 2
Two cards are removed from the deck, placed back to back and secured with a rubber band. You then remove a card which will act as a prediction of events to come. This card is slid in between the other two and left in full view. A spectator freely chooses any card from the deck and shows it to everyone. When your prediction card is turned over..oops, it doesn't match! Not to worry, you slide your prediction out from between the other two, wave it over the spectator's selection and it changes to match perfectly! Both cards may be immediately examined.

Switcher includes all of the necessary, ingenious gaffs, rubber band and detailed instructions.

What You Get

• All of the necessary, ingenious gaffs
• Detailed instructions
• Tons of uses and ideas
• The secret
• The ability to perform the most visual card switch ever!

GIMMICK SECOND CHANCE BY WAYNE DOBSON

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hW0p26Cd2g0

• A wickedly clever effect that's easy to do and really packs a punch! Second Chance is Wayne Dobson thinking at its best.

• 100% Self Working.
• Regular Decks.
• No memory.
• Instant reset.

Wayne Dobson has a knack for invention knockout effects with great presentations, that are easy to do and Second Chance is one of his finest creations!

Without you even touching the deck, a spectator thinks of any card, removes it from the deck and hides it in their pocket. You then take another deck and claim that you are going to try and choose the same card that the spectator has hidden in their pocket. You remove one card and the spectator removes the card from their pocket, however it is NOT the same card. You ask for a Second Chance to prove that you have chosen the same card.

Turning over your card it is seen that the spectators 'Thought of Card' is written on the back, proving that it is the Same Card!

Sounds impossible? It's that good!

GIMMICK THE TROJAN HORSE BY STEVEN HIMMEL

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DG5k3qXE73M

The Trojan Horse is a genius utility playing card gimmick that will allow you to:

• Transpose a selection, card, bill or billet.
• Change the face or back of a selected card.
• Quick, easy and powerful mentalism routines.
• Produce currency or small objects!

Place a selection, very fairly, in between the two jokers. And with no funny moves the card vanishes only to reappear anywhere you want.

The Cargo:
1) Horse of a Different Color (color changing back)
A red card is selected and placed between the jokers. In an instant with no moves, the selection vanishes and reappears face up in the deck. It is placed once more in between the jokers and with a wave of the hand, the back changes color.

2) A Horse with No Name (Mystery Card)
An unknown card is place between the two jokers. A card is chosen and signed then lost in the deck. The jokers are picked up and the card between them is shown to be the signed selection.

3) Wells Fargo (Card to Coin Production)
A blank card is shown front and back. The spectator draws a picture of a coin, like a quarter or half dollar, on the blank card. The Jokers are introduced as money makers. The card with the drawing on it is placed in between the jokers, and with a magical wave, a coin slides out from the jokers and the card with the drawing has vanished.

4) Horse Whisperer (Thought of Card Sandwich)
The spectator peaks at a card. The deck is shuffled and the jokers are removed. The jokers are waved over the deck and a card is seen to appear in between them. It is the peaked at card.

With something as simple as one gimmick you'll have an infinite number of tricks at the ready. Saddle up and prepare for the Trojan Horse.

GIMMICK EVOLVE 2.0 BY NICHOLAS LAWRENCE

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eAIPNDiL54

EVOLVE is a brand new visual morphing concept that can be applied to any small object including cards, receipts and bills. The object can be unfolded and handed straight out!

EFFECT:
A folded card can be dropped from hand to hand (as on the front cover) and as it drops the colour visually morphs from red to blue. It can then be handed straight out for examination. This effect can also be used with bills, receipts, cards and many more similar styled objects.

EVOLVE has many startling applications including changing an object as they are slid across a table or with a simple snap of the fingers! Once again it can be unfolded and handed straight out for examination!

Your object can be set ready to go. No need to hold onto it like in inferrer methods.

No elastic thread to break.

Visually stunning!

Did we mention that it can be handed straight out for examination?

GIMMICK PHASE BY JOSH JANOUSKY

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhIwyJssNMo

A borrowed credit card is pushed through a borrowed bill. Simple, elegant, and impossible. That's "Phase" in a nutshell. With just one sleight-of-hand maneuver, the rest of the routine is slow and gorgeous, and it's a lovely piece of magic to have in your arsenal.

Florida magician Josh Janousky takes you through the entire routine step by step, including self-working alternatives, so that you can perform Phase within minutes of watching.
Works with any banknote (including plastic bills). Does require the simple construction of a small gimmick. Easy to learn and easy to perform.

GIMMICK FIXED FATE BY CAMERON FRANCIS

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXsEFvTWo6U

Effect:  The magician hands a blue-backed deck to a spectator, who is then asked to name a random number - let’s say they say, 15.

The spectator is asked to turn the deck face up and slowly deal down 15 cards. Every card is clearly different and the spectator stops at the 15^th card. Let’s say it is the Ten Of Clubs.

The magician reiterates just how fair this was. The spectator chose a random number. The spectator dealt down to THAT number themselves and ended on a card. Both the chosen number and the chosen card were freely arrived at.

The magician shows that, had a different number been named, a different card would have been selected. So that makes it all the more impossible when the Ten Of Clubs is flipped over to reveal that it has a RED BACK! It’s the only card from a different deck. However that isn’t the biggest shock… that would be the huge number 15 written across the back of the card!

·       Self-working
·       No sleight of hand
·       Can be a different card and number every time

GIMMICK RIP BY CHRISTOPHER WIEHL

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNderCA3WNM

There are many torn and restored card effects on the market. Most are difficult, multi-phased, and angle-sensitive. Pros and cons for each one.

The advantage of RIP is that the ENTIRE effect happens in ten seconds. You casually tear a card to pieces, then shake the pieces. They VISIBLY restore, front and back.

What you receive with RIP is a GORGEOUS handmade gaff that has two positions: in the open position it looks exactly like a messy pile of pieces, front and back. When it flips (and locks) closed, it is a normal card, front and back. There are no threads or parts to break: it's practical and completely reliable.

- Custom hand-made gimmick, ready to perform straight from the box
- Includes 1 hour, 20 minute DVD with many variations
- Full instructions on how to make your own, additional gimmicks
- Surprisingly easy to perform!

RIP was a sellout at the Blackpool Convention, with dozens of people walking around "flipping" the gimmicked card closed to create the illusion of an instant restore. This gimmick is fun. It works itself, is easy to do, and has no bad angles. If you're looking to add a quick, visual Torn and Restored moment into your card set, RIP is just for you.

GIMMICK DECEASED BY JAMIE DAWS

DEMO : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a9bSticHDe4

The Deceased is a up-to-date 'Living and Dead' test from the creative mind of Jamie Daws.

A story is told of a dinner held in 1908 attended by ten guests. At 8pm they sat down to dine. By 10pm, eight of the guests were dead - killed by the other two.
As you recount the horrific details of the murders, you hand your spectator a black envelope for safe keeping.
You then show ten old looking photographs of both the killers and the unfortunate victims. The killers and the victims are mixed together, and you explain that it is down to your spectator to separate the killers from the victims - the living from the dead.
You hand five of the photographs to your spectator and keep five for yourself. Behind your backs, you instruct your spectator to slide one photo from the top to the bottom until they 'get a feeling', at which point they are instructed to remove the photograph from the stack, still behind their backs. You do the same, and then you both swap your remaining four cards with each other and place your selections the opposite way round in the other's pile. The two piles of five photos are brought forward and set down, eight are face up, two are face down.
The black envelope is brought forward, which has been in the possession of the spectator the entire time. The spectator opens it to find two photographs within - a man and a woman. The two photographs are of the two killers on that fateful night. Upon turning over the two reversed photographs in the stacks, you and your spectator have matched the two killers.
As a killer ending (pun intended), the two prediction photographs from the envelope are turned over to reveal the word 'Killer' on their reverse. All of the other cards are turned over to reveal 'Dead' written on their backs - all except your two selected photographs, which are blank. Everything can be examined and you are instantly reset.
